On Deck Fitness
One workout. No decisions.
On Deck Fitness is a workout app for iPhone and Apple Watch that decides your training for you. Tell it what exercise equipment you have, and it hands you exactly one task at a time — “100 burpees for time” — scaled to your fitness level and how recovered you are. Finish it to see what’s next.
The mystery box
No endless program browsing, no planning paralysis. One task is on deck at a time — and you can’t peek ahead until you’ve earned it.
Physiology-aware
A recovery engine tracks muscle-group fatigue behind the scenes, enforces cooldowns, and picks work your body is actually ready for.
Your equipment, your scale
Register what you own — a full rack or a single kettlebell. Early calibration workouts tune every task to your real capacity.
The Mercy Rule
Having a rough day? Scale a task down without shame — the engine adjusts and keeps you moving instead of quitting.
How it works
Vibe Check
A quick, funny onboarding that captures your stats, equipment, and how you like to suffer.
Calibrate
Your first workouts are calibration probes that measure where you actually are — not where you say you are.
Open the box
One task appears. Do it, record it, and the engine percolates the next one while you recover.
Repeat
Fatigue-aware programming keeps every session productive — and every next box a surprise.
About On Deck Fitness
On Deck Fitness is a fitness application for iPhone and Apple Watch, published by Kickstep Inc. Its purpose is to take the planning and decision-making out of exercise: rather than browsing workout programs or building your own routine, you are given one workout task at a time, chosen and scaled for you automatically.
You register the exercise equipment you own and complete a few short calibration workouts so the app can measure your starting capacity. From then on, a recovery-aware engine tracks which muscle groups you have already fatigued, enforces rest between hard sessions, and selects the next task your body is ready for. If a task is too much on a given day, the Mercy Rule scales it down instead of leaving you to quit.
Accounts and sign-in
On Deck Fitness uses an account so that your workout history, calibration results, and equipment profile stay in sync between your iPhone and Apple Watch. You can sign up with an email address, or sign in with Apple or Google. When you sign in with Google, we receive only the account identifier and email address that Google shares with us, and we use them solely to create and sign you in to your On Deck Fitness account. We do not use that information for advertising, and we do not sell it.
Your data
With your permission, the app also reads and writes workout data through Apple HealthKit to record your sessions and estimate recovery. Our use of artificial intelligence is deliberately narrow: it is limited to natural-language translation in our backend API, running on user-agnostic models inside our own private cloud — never used to advertise to you, and never trained on your personal data. Our Privacy Policy describes in full what we collect and how it is handled, and our Terms of Service covers the terms of use. You can delete your account and its associated data at any time from within the app, or by contacting us through our Support page.
